How do liposomes work?

Liposomes are made out of phospholipids, which are the building blocks of our cells. The active ingredients are encapsulated in those and safely delivered through the digestive system. Once they reach the small intestines, they act as a trojan horse. The intestines just sees the "capsule" and since it is a very beneficial substance, it is absorbed together with the active ingredient right into the bloodstream. The absorption can thus be increased to up to 98%.
